INTRODUCTION

Les Anciennes Routes s’apprêtent à s’ouvrir de nouveau. Le Pacte tentera un pas de plus pour étendre son territoire et renforcer sa résistance face aux armées des morts. Cette fois, l’expédition partira vers les terres de l’Union Kouznet, menée avec une ironie amère par ceux-là mêmes qui les gouvernaient jadis : les nobles déchus de l’Empire Vedmid.

Le front en Lascya a été repris, et la Sorcière de Sang a enfin été affaiblie grâce à un puissant rituel, révélant la force et la coordination exemplaires des habitants du Pacte. Or, l’unité vacille. Depuis l’exécution d’un hérétique, la mort tragique de la Sage d’Eloen et l’échec cuisant de la protection de la flore vitale d’Ashwood, les tensions montent, et la survie devient chaque jour plus incertaine.

Malgré tout, le peuple tient bon et les nations restent solidaires. Quant aux héros d’Ashwood, ils poursuivent leur quête, déterminés à percer les mystères qui mettent à rude épreuve leur esprit comme leur chair.

INTRODUCTION

The Old Roads are preparing to open once more. The Pact will take another step to expand its territory and strengthen its resistance against the armies of the dead. This time, the expedition will venture into the lands of the Kouznets Union, led, bitterly enough, by the very nobles who once ruled them: the fallen aristocracy of the Vedmid Empire.

The front in Lascya has been reclaimed, and the Blood Witch has finally been weakened thanks to a powerful ritual that showed the strength and coordination of the Pact’s people. Yet unity now falters. Since the execution of a heretic, the tragic death of the Sage of Eloen, and the failure to protect Ashwood’s vital flora, tensions have risen, and survival grows more precarious by the day.

Still, the people hold strong, and the nations remain united. As for the heroes of Ashwood, they continue their quest, determined to uncover the mysteries that test both their minds and their bodies.
